My interior is just as cool as my exterior.

Christina puts stickers that she likes, but that could possibly offend people,
on my inside
so she and her friends can enjoy them without upsetting anybody else.

But most of the stickers inside are just as positive as those outside.

Christina's daughter, Kaela, has her own door to decorate inside, behind
Christina's seat.

These tye-dyed velvet "seat covers" were made by vendors at Camp Creek.
Their website used to be Happycolors.com, but doesn't seem to be there anymore.
Christina really wants to find these people again so she can get more.
Please let us know if you know them!

When stepping inside to ride in me for the first time, people are often just
as amazed with my
indoor decor as they were when they first laid eyes on my stickers.

Christina displays her button collection on my ceiling.

The note on yellow paper was the first of many notes that passers-by have
left for me in parking lots.

All the original artwork on the ceiling was done by Christina or Kaela.

The colored pencil drawings, done by Christina, used to have
vibrant water-colored backgrounds, but the paint faded over time.
Their borders and parts of their colored areas are glazed with invisible glow-in-the-dark
paint.

Christina got the Magic Bus Poster for only 60¢!

The Hummingbird

The Mushroom

The Caterpillar and the Butterfly

Fairies in Love

Even from the inside, Christina's door is an inspiration to her.
The sticker on top reminds her that the real world lies beyond.

One of Christina's favorite quotes is stuck on several surfaces around the
inside.
It is...

they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me. -Pastor Martin Niemöller |

Kaela made this picture when she was five years old. Isn't she talented?

Kaela made this picture of me and her and Christina when she had just turned
five.
You should see her work now!
